Card Contest

Enter our contest in one of the following areas, scrapbooked card, quilted post card or Fiber Arts Card and have a chance to win great prizes.  The next time you're working on a project, use your supplies to create a card at the same time. Then bring it to the show or send it in to MEKS Exhibitions to share your creative side. All entries will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital Auxiliary to be sold in the gift shop.

• Come to the event prepared with the actual card or send it in with your class registration form.
• Write on a separate piece of paper your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
• Entries are due to the Registration Desk by 12 noon on Saturday Nov 8, 2008.
• Winners will be announced in the Vendor Mall later that afternoon at 5:45 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.

Cards are judged on creativity, originality, and craftsmanship. Submit only your original ideas, not ideas copied from store display samples, magazines, kits, or other designer's works.

Quilt Block Challenge

Create a 12” finished block that shows your creative style.  Then bring it to the show or send it in to MEKS Exhibitions to have a chance to win great prizes.  All entries will be donated to a Quilt Guild to be made into quilts for those who need them in the community.

• Come to the event prepared with a finished 12” quilt block
• Write on a separate piece of paper your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
• Entries are due to the Registration Desk by 12 noon on Saturday Nov 8, 2008.
• Winners will be announced in the Vendor Mall later that afternoon at 5:45 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.

Quilt Blocks are judged on creativity, originality, and craftsmanship.
